Neuromodulators are treatments that relax the muscles in your face to help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, and to prevent future wrinkles and lines. They work by blocking the signals that tell your muscles to move, so your skin can remain smooth and relaxed.

When injected into specific facial muscles, they are temporarily relaxed. Relaxing the muscles will soften lines that are caused by dynamic movement, like frowning or squinting, and help prevent static lines and deeper wrinkles over time.
Read MoreNeuromodulator treatments are quick and minimally invasive. Your provider will use a very fine needle to inject small amounts of the product into specific facial muscles. The process usually takes about 15-30 minutes. You may feel a slight pinch during the injections, but most clients find it very tolerable. After your appointment, you should not lie down for 4 hours, or press on the treated areas, and avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours, as results can be affected.
Neuromodulators can take up to 14 days to take full effect, and will generally last for 3-4 months depending on the treated area, how much product was injected, among other factors like sun exposure and smoking/vaping. Your provider will discuss expectations and give post treatment instructions to help with your outcome.
